Victor Boniface has reacted to the report that he will have to undergo another knee surgery, which will effectively end his season.
The striker, who is on a season-long loan at Werder Bremen from another Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen, revealed that he has been putting up a brave face this past year.
The bubbly striker was philosophical after news broke he will need to go under the knife again.
“Been putting fake smile for almost a year. But God knows why all this is happening. Grateful to God,” he posted on X
Earlier he had described 2025 as “tough year”.
The striker, whose mother died at a very young age, has survived two ACL injuries and his transfer to AC Milan in the summer was called off following medical concerns.
He was also not lucky when did not move to Saudi Arabia despite already agreeing personal terms with Al Nasser.
