Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen have left out Victor Boniface from their UEFA Europa League squad.
Coach Carles Martinez said Boniface is not physically ready.
The striker has only recently recovered from knee surgery.
He has returned from a difficult loan spell at another Bundesliga club Werder Bremen.
Leverkusen were open to send him out on another loan or sell him outrightly in this recent summer transfer window.
