Victor Boniface has helped Bayer Leverkusen to set a new Bundesliga record of going 25 games unbeaten and the reward is that he has attracted interest from several top Italian clubs, who now have to spend big to get their man.
The 22-year-old striker now has 24 goals involvements in 23 appearances as Bayer Leverkusen finished top of the Bundesliga in 2023.
Interested clubs will now have to pay at least 40 Million Euros, about twice what the German club paid for the striker in the summer, for the Super Eagles star.
According to Corriere di Torino, Juventus sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, is working on signing Victor Boniface next summer – and the same is said to apply to Milan.
After 16 rounds played, Juventus are in second place in Serie A, four points behind league leaders Inter.
Milan and Napoli are in third and fifth place respectively.
Victor Boniface has a contract with Leverkusen until the summer of 2028.
