Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface and Taiwo Awoniyi of Nottingham Forest will lead the Super Eagles strike force in coach Jose Peseiro’s preferred 4-4-2 formation against Lesotho today.

The Eagles will be without star striker Victor Osimhen, who is nursing a hamstring injury, but they have enough firepower to gun down the Crocodiles of Lesotho.
The wingers will be Ademola Lookman from Serie A club Atalanta and Kelechi Iheanacho, who has been on fine form for Leicester City in the English Championship.
Alex Iwobi of Premier League club Fulham will provide the creativity in midfield with Frank Onyeka from Brentford bringing the muscle.
The defence has fullbacks Bright Osayi-Samuel and Jamilu Collins with central defenders Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey.
Under-fire Francis Uzoho is in goal for this 2026 World Cup qualifier.
