La Liga side Valencia are believed to be close to signing Sadiq Umar after UD Almeria failed to win promotion to the Spanish top flight.
However, another La Liga outfit, Getafe have not given up the chase for the signature of the striker, who fired 20 goals in Segunda Division last season.
Top sources close to the striker informed SCORENigeria that indications are strong Sadiq will make the move to the top league this summer.
The former U23 international is currently on holidays in his hometown of Kaduna and he has remained coy about his future.
“Everything depends on my club Almeria,” he simply said when asked about his next destination.
