The video showed Utaka first flinging away his mobile phone before he came across to hand over a Montpellier shirt to Akor with the words βItβs your turn” and then hugged him.
An excited Akor then ended the video clip, saying: βIβm ready! Allez Paillade!!β
Utaka enjoyed a most eventful campaign with Montpellier during which his goals crowned them champions of France in May 2012.
His brace in a 2-1 win over Auxerre gave Montpellier their first-ever Ligue 1 championship at the expense of PSG.
He is currently coach of one of Montpellier age-group teams.
Akor has signed a four-year contract after the French Ligue 1 club paid 5.5 Million Euros to his Norwegian club. He has been handed jersey No 8 and he is expected to be on the matchday squad Sunday against Le Havre.
