Turkish champions Trabzonspor are still interested in signing William Ekong from English Championship side Watford.
A first bid for Ekong by Trabzonspor was rejected by Watford last week.
The Ankara-based club want the experienced central defender on a season-long loan with option to buy thereafter.
Ekong, 28, is surplus to requirements at Watford this season as he has yet to start a game, only coming to play the last seven minutes against West Bromwich.
He has a contract with Watford till June 2025.
