The scout of a top European club has put a price tag on Tolu Arokodare, who only recently made his long-awaited Super Eagles debut.
Arokodare, 24, is the leading scorer in the Belgian league with 18 goals for Genk thus far.
The scout of a European club told Het Laatste Nieuws: “I told my club: if you are looking for a striker, buy Tolu. I estimate that Genk will ask for 25 million euros, to land around 20 million.”
According to a technical director in Belgium, there is even a situation in which Genk could even get more, especially if an English team were involved.
“Tolu, with his size and speed, can function very well in a Premier League bottom team, but he also fits in well with a dominant team. The teams in Germany, France or Spain are less wealthy and will bet on a lower amount,” he concluded.
