Leading scorer in the Turkish Super Lig, Paul Onuachu, has spoken on the tight title race after Galatasaray opened a four-point gap at the top of the table.
Galatasaray won 3-1 at Goztepe to now move points clear of Onuachu’s club Trabzonspor and Fenerbache with six rounds of matches to the end of the season.
“Actually, without making too many comments, we need to win our matches and keep going,” Trabzonspor striker Onuachu at a special autograph-signing event for the fans.
“There’s a four-point difference right now. We still have matches to play. We need to win our matches and then see what happens.”
Fans thronged the autograph-signing event specially arranged for the Super Eagles striker, who is the leading scorer in the Super Lig with 22 goals thus far.
Fans began gathering at the event area from the early morning hours, forming long queues in front of the store, and the event continued with a large turnout.
