Top Belgian club Royal Antwerp are set to sign highly-rated IFK Goteborg midfielder Alhassan Yusuf, according to a top transfer expert.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both Antwerp and Goteborg have reached an agreement of 1.5 Million Euros for Yusuf.
“Nigerian midfielder Alhassan Yusuf will join Royal Antwerp in Belgium. Done deal and agreement reached for 1.5 Million Euros to Goteborg,” Romano tweeted.
This transfer comes just days after Yusuf changed his agents to Stellar Group.
This week, SCORENigeria first reported that Scottish champions Rangers and newly promoted Premier League club Brentford contacted Goteborg on the player, who still has a year left on his contract.
The former FC Hearts star was also lately linked to Belgian champions Club Brugge.
‘Hasse’ has also been on the radar of several Premier League clubs like Wolves and Sheffield United.
