Tochi Chukwuani, who is now Lyngby crown jewel, has turned down Danish club Brondby after he had rejected Trabzonspor of Turkey.
According to BT, Brondby have sent a two-digit million offer to Lyngby, which they have accepted, but Tochi Chukwuani has turned down.
In the past, there have also been reports that the Lyngby jewel has rejected a move to Turkish club Trabzonspor.
The midfielder is therefore highly sought after, and one can well imagine that Lyngby will make another big sale this summer.
Conversely, he can also surprise by staying put Lyngby, who have had an excellent start to the season after their lucky escape last season.
He told Discovery Plus: “I feel I am in a perfect place right now with Lyngby, and we are also doing well in the league.
“It won’t hurt me to take one more season with them. When I joined the club, the agreement was that I should be sold after one season, but it was because we didn’t know if we were in the Superliga at the time. That has now changed and I am doing well too. I also feel that I have even more to offer.”
He admitted that something could still happen and that he has an “open door policy”. He emphasized, however, that all the focus is on Lyngby.
