Kelechi Iheanacho has said he is delighted to get off to a flying start in Turkey – a goal, an assist and victory on the road on his official debut.

The Super Eagles striker opened scoring for new club Bursaspor in the 27th minute, when he got to the end of a long ball played behind the Bodrum FK defence before he fired home with his magical left foot past the goalkeeper.
He then assisted for his team’s second goal just before halftime.
Sofascore named him Man of the Match with a personal score of 7.8 points.
“I’m very happy,” he told Bein Sports.
“Early matches are tough. I’m delighted we won. I’m also thrilled to have scored a goal and provided an assist.
“I hope I can be successful here and win some trophies.”
