The National Association of Nigeria Footballers (NANF) continued its series today pending a press conference later this week over the alleged scam called the LMC/NPFL/Redstrike purported partnership unveiled on September 1, 2020.
The NANF maintained in its release of this weekend that a Joint Venture Company (JVC) was incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) NPFL-NEXT MARKETING. AND MEDIA COMPANY LIMITED with registration number RC: 1664241 dated March 3, 2020, according to NANF sources.
The Joint Venture Company (JVC) was invested with all commercial rights of the NPFL in which Next Digital Broadcasting has controlling shares.
From the forgoing, no responsible corporate organisation would criminally bungle such an agreement.
And in all these the Total Promotions/LMC broadcast rights and title rights saga is on and alive at the Court of Appeal, where LMC hung the case.
By the time Shehu Dikko and his co-travelers finish with our domestic leagues, there would be no carcass left.
The mission now is to steal, kill and destroy Nigeria football.
All hands must be on deck to stop Shehu Dikko and others in the words of the Rivers State Honourable commissioner of sports Boma Iyayi, these guys will take our football 50 years back if their excesses are not checked now.
The Honourable Minister of Sports Sunday Dare and President Muhammadu Buhari must act now.
The reaction from this dubious and fraudulent action by the LMC would further stall the growth of domestic football which is already at its lowest ebb.
