Nathan Tella helped Burnley to gain promotion back to the Premier League, but he may well be overpriced by parent club Southampton to scupper a chance to play in the top league.
Tella, who has pledged his international future to the Super Eagles, has returned to Southampton, who will play in the English Championship in the coming season after relegation from the Premier League this past season.
Burnley have already been busy on the transfer market as they strengthen for the bigger demands of the Premier League.
They are keen to sign Tella permanently after he shone on loan last season, but they will not exactly break the bank to get their man as they also have to fortify the team in several other positions.
A transfer fee of 15 Million Pounds would be realistic figure for the flying 23-year-old winger, who finished as Burnley top scorer last season on 19 goals.
Southampton though will be the ones to call the shots as the player still has two years left on his contract and they may interested to keep a player who has already proved himself in the Championship.
