Nathan Tella has followed up on his FA Cup heroics to deliver a hat-trick for English Championship leaders Burnley as Kelechi Iheanacho extended his scoring run in the Premier League.
Tella netted in the 15th, 55th and 58th minutes for Burnley to consolidate top spot in the Championship at the expense of Preston North End.
He was the match winner for his club to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup earlier this week.
The Southampton loanee has now scored 12 goals in the league and 14 in all competitions.
Burnley are seven points clear at the summit of the second-tier league after 30 matches.
In the Premier League, Iheanacho was also on song when he scored his third goal in a 4-1 home win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Leicester City striker got off the mark in first-half stoppage time.
He now has three goals and four assists in three Premier League starts.
Leicester City are 13th in the standings with 24 points from 22 matches.
