FCT striker Enoch Tanimu has said he hopes his heroics at the National Sports Festival in Asaba will soon be rewarded with a call-up by the Flying Eagles.
Tanimu netted three goals including one in the Gold medal match and provided three assists for FCT to win silver at the NSF.
“It was a good experience for me at the National Sports Festival,” the exciting striker said.
“We came close to winning the Gold, but in the end it was not to be and we will accept our silver, which is an improvement on the bronze medal of last year in Benin City.
“Now I hope I can get my chance to show what I am capable of with the Flying Eagles.”
NFF technical director Augustine Eguavoen watched Tanimu score in the Gold medal match against Bayelsa State and took his information after the game.
The Flying Eagles have been preparing in Abuja ahead of next year’s U20 AFCON in Egypt.
