Swedish club IFK Norrkoping have turned down a 2.5 Million Euros bid for former Golden Eaglets star Ishaq Abdulrazak aka ‘Golden Boy’.
According to SportExpressen, Norrköping recently received an offer from Belgian giants Anderlecht for the midfielder.
The bid was around SEK 26 million, but the Swedish club rejected it.
“I cannot comment on which clubs are involved, but we have declined bids for Ishaq,” said Norrköping chairman Sakarias Mårdh.
The bid came this weekend and Mårdh explained why Abdulrazak was not sold.
“At present, we are not in favor of selling Ishaq if there were a monster bid that cannot be turned down,” he said.
“We value both Samuel (Adegbenro) and Ishaq as key players.”
‘Golden Boy’, 19, started all the matches in the Allsvenskan last season and he made five assists for Norrkoping.
