Swedish club IFK Goteborg have announced they have agreed for former Flying Eagles striker Sulaiman Abdullahi to try out at Norwegian club Stabaek.
“We’ll see what that leads to. ‘Sulle’ is eager to test at Stabaek and we are positive that he will be there in the near future,” disclosed technical director Ola Larsson.
Norwegian second division club Stabaek have given the former youth international a 10-day trial.
“This is a player who has shown a lot in the past, but who has not yet reached his potential in Gothenburg,” said sports manager Thomas Finstad
“Through good contacts in football, we have had the opportunity to get to know him better as a player and as a person through a ten-day trial. It will be exciting to see him in training.”
The 27-year-old striker has continued to be troubled by injury since his arrival in Sweden from German Bundesliga club Union Berlin.
He has only made 28 appearances for Goteborg since his arrival in 2022.
He has a contract with the Swedish club until the summer of 2025.
