Terem Moffi is back to business in the French Ligue 1 after he scored the only goal for home team FC Lorient to down AS Monaco tonight.
He was also scored an impressive 7.8 rating.
The 22-year-old striker, who fired 15 goals in all competitions last season, opened his goals’ account for the new campaign when he put away a penalty in the 31st minute.
Moffi was pulled down by a desperate Monaco defender when he was almost clear on goal.
He picked himself up and calmly tucked away the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
It will prove to be the match winner.
This was his fourth goal against Monaco in three games.
And Lorient, who struggled against relegation most of last season, now have four points after two matches after they held hosts Saint Etienne to a 1-1 draw on the opening day of the campaign.
