The 34-year-old striker has now netted eight goals in the Saudi Arabian league.
Ighalo opened scoring after three minutes, he then made it 2-1 with a powerful headed goal for the home team in the 58th minute.
The former Manchester United striker completed his treble on 80 minutes from the penalty spot.
His club Al Wehda are punching above their weight courtesy of his goals.
They are now ninth in the standings with 19 points from 14 matches.
