Francisca Ordega, who captained the Super Falcons against Jamaica in the absence of Asisat Oshoala, has assured she is fit after she was stretchered off in Thursday’s clash in Texas.
“I appreciate the concerns of everyone, but I’m fine and very well,” said Ordega, who is one of the most experienced players on a largely experimental Falcons squad in the USA.
An official also maintained there are no injury worries in the team and the Levante forward was taken out of the game as a precaution.
The African champions next face Portugal, who are 29th in the FIFA Ranking, in continuation of the Summer Series in the USA.
