Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has quit Leicester City women’s team at the end of her contract with the English Super League team.
This is a bit of a shock move considering that she helped the club stay up in the top league in dramatic style.
The 25-year-old Plumptre spent four seasons and made 79 appearances for Leicester.
She won the Championship title with the club in 2021.
She is currently with the Super Falcons at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
