The Super Falcons may not play again during this month’s international break after Cape Verde pulled out of a series of friendlies planned for Ikenne next week.
Several reports said Cape Verde withdrew from the friendlies, which were to serve as 2026 WAFCON warmups for both teams.
It was also gathered that the NFF are now making frantic efforts to get a late replacement for Cape Verde.
The Super Falcons were due to open training camp this weekend for the international break of April 7-18.
The 10-time African champions have often failed to play during the international break.
