China-based striker Desire Oparanozie could finally make her bow at this World Cup after she recovered from injury, according to Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum.
Waldrum said the experienced striker suffered injury soon after the team set up training camp for the World Cup in Australia.
“She is fit now and should play some part against England,” the coach disclosed.
Oparanozie will be another option to lead the Falcons attack after Asisat Oshoala and Ifeoma Onumonu have manned this position at the World Cup.
