Ahead of tomorrow’s kick-off of the 2026 WAFCON, defending champions the Super Falcons have alleged that they lost cash at their Moroccan hotel.
Canada-based forward Esther Okoronkwo alleged on social media that the cleaning women at the Marriott Hotel in Casablanca stole their cash because after the theft was reported, they were not shocked.
Okoronkwo said she lost $500, while captain Rasheedat Ajibade lost $250 with several other players also losing cash.
The Super Falcons open their WAFCON campaign Tuesday night against Malawi.
