On Sunday evening, they will face the winners of another Round of 16 tie between hosts Poland and Colombia for a place in the semifinals.
Tosin Rafiu gave Nigeria a great start after just eight minutes when she opened scoring with a well-taken solo goal.
Benfica striker Janet ‘Semenya’ Akekoromowei doubled the Falconets advantage two minutes after the restart, before substitute Mary Mamudu completed the rout in the 73rd minute.
It was a well-worked team goal by Mamudu as she blasted home a cut-back from deep inside the box.
However, this contest was not plain sailing for the Nigerians as goalkeeper and captain Christiana Uzoma had to pull off a couple of big saves including keeping out a penalty in the 34th minute.
Nigeria have twice reached the final of this World Cup.
