The Super Eagles will train today behind closed doors ahead of Tuesday’s final 2026 World Cup qualifying showdown against Benin in Uyo.
It will be their first training in Uyo after they were forced to sleep last night in Luanda after the windshield of the aircraft flying them from South Africa cracked in mid-air.
The training opened by 5pm, which is also the kick-off time for the World Cup qualifier against the Cheetahs of Benin.
The training was mainly on ball drills and recovery.
Benin top of the Group C standings with 17 points from nine matches, while Nigeria are third on 14 points.
