One of coach Gernot Rohr’s early targets Noah Bazee is buzzing again after a long battle with injury.
Winger Bazee’s highly promising career has stalled no thanks to injuries, from hip to shin to knee.
He missed the first round of the Bundesliga after he joined FC Augsburg from Hannover 96 last summer.
“I feel really comfortable here. The team welcomed me really well and we have a great team,” he said.
He has now made two straight starts since the restart of the Bundesliga after the suspension of the competition by the Coronavirus Pandemic.
He scored his first goal of the season in his team’s 3-0 win over Schalke 04.
“It was an amazing feeling. I was very happy, but also proud of the good performance that we showed as a team on the pitch. It was a perfect day for me,” he remarked.
