Officials have informed SCORENigeria that the Super Eagles will first test their readiness with a friendly tomorrow against a local side in Dubai, where they are training, before a final warm-up against fellow AFCON finalists Guinea Monday.
Officials further told SCORENigeria that the two matches will give a better idea the players coach Jose Peseiro will count on from the off at the AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.
The players featured will address some of the major concerns in the team like first-choice goalkeeper, central defence pairing as well as the midfield combination.
The Portuguese coach has already come into Dubai with a goalkeeper trainer.
Peseiro has now favoured a 4-4-2 formation to take in an extra striker going by the emergence of several Nigerian strikers in Europe most recently.
The two test games mean that the Super Eagles only trained once today in the evening.
It has yet to be ascertained whether the media and public could watch both matches as preparations so far have been done under the radar.
