Cyriel Dessers has suffered a leg injury, which the Rangers coach described as “a nasty one”.
The Super Eagles striker was forced out of the UEFA Champions League third round qualifier at Viktoria Plzen by an ankle injury.
“It looks a nasty one, so he’s in a brace now,” reported Rangers boss Russel Martin.
“We’ll have to just wait and see over the next couple of days, have a scan and see.
“We’ll keep our fingers crossed it’s not too bad for the big man.”
Rangers will next battle Club Brugge for a place in the group phase of the UEFA Champions League.
