Cyriel Dessers could still make a big transfer even after Feyenoord opted not to sign him on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell from Genk.
Italian Serie A club Fiorentina are reported to be the latest club to be linked to the striker, who top scored the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League with 10 goals.
One report even said Dessers has spoken with Fiorentina, who will feature in the UEFA Conference League next season after they finished seventh in Serie A recently.
The Super Eagles striker still has two years left on his contract at Genk.
It was reported that Feyenoord were keen to splash out the negotiated four Million Euros for Dessers, but a permanent transfer fell through when they could not agree an improved salary for the striker.
