Super Eagles striker Jerome Akor has promised to grace a special scouting tournament in Zaria organised by former Flying Eagles team administrator Aliyu Lawal Ibrahim aka Ali Cairo.
Akor pledged to fully support the event slated for July in Zaria, while also endorsing the political campaign of Ali Cairo.
Ali Cairo, who has embarked on a career in politics, visited Akor at his Spanish base.
Akor presented his Sevilla jersey to Ali Cairo during the visit.
He told the Super Eagles striker that talents abound in Zaria and so it will be great for him to come and see for himself during the summer holidays.
Ali Cairo was team secretary of the Flying Eagles at the 2019 U20 World Cup in Poland, where Akor featured.
