Super Eagles forward Chrisantus Uche could be on his way back to Spain from the Premier League as early as January.
A report from Spanish publication AS claimed Crystal Palace could send Uche back to Getafe in January, when the transfer window reopens.
Uche does not have a future at the Spanish club, and he is likely to be made available again on the transfer market.
Crystal Palace signed the player from the Spanish club in the summer on a loan deal. The deal includes an option to buy that becomes permanent if certain conditions are met.
Getafe were hoping Crystal Palace would sign him permanently to raise funds. Uche has made two league appearances from the bench for the London club and has not started a Premier League game.
The Nigerian international has three caps for his country and is under contract with Getafe until June 2028.
According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €15.00m.
