Belgian publication Voetbalkrant has predicted that Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika will quit champions Club Brugge “through the back door”.
In a special analysis, Voetbalkrant reported that Onyedika is certain to leave Club Brugge even though his contract has a year to run and the player himself is pushing for a transfer.
“The Nigerian only has a contract for one season left and also lost his starting place in the play-offs. In the gala match against KAA Gent, he remained on the bench the entire time. He seems to be leaving through the back door,” the publication reported.
Club Brugge celebrated their 20th league championship and Onyedika was not part of it.
He has been linked to Galatasaray as well as clubs in the German Bundesliga and Premier League.
His departure could now be acrimonious as Club Brugge are demanding for at least 20 million euros on him.
