Tolu Arokodare scored his eighth goal in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League today for Genk to consolidate their top spot on the table.
Genk beat home team Gent 2-0 with Arokodare opening the scoring in the 46th minute after a barren first half.
Arokodare is the leading scorer in the Belgian top league and has been on the radar of Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguavoen.
Genk have now recorded 28 points in 12 matches.
They are five points clear of closest rivals Antwerp.
