The NFF announced that the Super Eagles will open camp for the 2026 World Cup Playoffs on November 9 in Rabat.
The Super Eagles will take on Gabon on Thursday, November 13, with the winners facing the winners of the other clash between DR Congo and Cameroon.
Tomorrow CAF will stage a draw to determine the match venues of the two Playoffs matches – the El Barid Stadium and the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex both in Rabat.
The final of the Playoffs will be played at the bigger Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium.
NFF president Ibrahim Gusau assured all hands are deck to ensure the Super Eagles win the CAF Playoffs.
“Every preparation needed to see the team soar to victory will be made,” he said.
“And I believe the players are additionally motivated by the keen desire for every professional footballer to feature at the FIFA World Cup finals.”
WITH SENTIMENT IN INVITATION OF PLAYERS, GOD WILL NOT ALLOW THEM TO QUALIFY FOR WORLD CUP.
PAUL ONUACHU, IHEANACHO, SADIQ-UMAR, BONIFACE, AHMED-MUSA HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER IN SUPER EAGLE TEAM AGAIN .
COACH ERIC CHELLE SHOULD NOT BE CARRIED AWAY/DECIEVED WITH CLUB GOAL SCORING FORM OF PAUL ONUACHU.
ONUACHU IS A EUROPEAN GOALSCORER DECIEVER.
HE ALWAYS FLOP IN SUPER EAGLE TEAM. THIS IS A PLAYER THAT HAS PLAYED MORE THAN 20 MATCHES IN SUPER EAGLE TEAM UNDER FIVE DIFFERENT COACHES , SCORED JUST ONLY TWO GOALS WITH NEITHER GOOD PERFORMANCE NOR EVEN CREATING GOAL ASSIST.
ONUACHU IS A PLAYER THAT CANNOT ADJUST IN TO STYLE OF PLAY OF SUPER EAGLE SETTING AS IT WAS COMPLAINED BY FORMER COACH: GERNOT ROHR.
**THERE ARE SOME OTHER BETTER PLAYERS THAT ARE WELL COMPOSED, RUGGED, AGGRESSIVE WITH GOOD QUALITY THAN HIM.
** ERIC CHELLE SHOULD ALWAYS BE INVITING PLAYERS BASE ON QUALITY & POTENTIAL..
