Club Brugge have named midfielder Raphael Onyedika for today’s league at Genk after it looked like he was on his way out of the Belgian champions.
Onyedika, 23, looked like he was on his way to a big transfer to the Premier League with his coach saying that there was “a real chance” he will leave.
He was therefore not listed for the team’s second game of the season at Standard Liege.
However, the Club Brugge board decided not to sell Onyedika again after a difficult start to the new season.
Club are yet to win after two rounds of matches.
They were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting KV Mechelen on the opening day of the season, before they lost 1-0 at Standard.
