The Super Eagles will for the first time at this AFCON leave Abidjan tomorrow for the northern Ivorian town of Bouake, where they await their semifinal opponents.
Bouake, where in 1989 a Daniel Amokachi-inspired Ranchers Bees won the sub-regional WAFU Cup at the expense of home team ASEC Mimosas, is an hour’s flight from Abidjan.
South Africa will take on Cape Verde later today to determine who will face the Super Eagles in the AFCON semifinal.
The semifinal at the Stade de la Paix will kick off 6 pm Wednesday.
The Super Eagles secured their passage to the last-four of the 2023 AFCON after they edged past a spirited Palancas Negras of Angola 1-0 Friday night.
