Super Eagles captain William Ekong will again start from the bench in today’s World Cup Playoffs against Gabon, while there are Starting XI spots for Samuel Chukweze, Ademola Lookman and Jerome Akor.
Coach Eric Chelle has again gone with his favoured 4-4-2 formation with Sevilla striker Akor combining with Victor Osimhen in attack.
Chukwueze has been rewarded with a start after a five-star display in the first half against Benin last month.
Youngster Benjamin Fredrick has again been picked ahead of captain Ekong to partner the ever-present Calvin Bassey in the heart of the back four, while Ademola Lookman returns to the Starting XI after he was suspended for the final day qualifier against Benin last month.
The team will be led by Wilfred Ndidi.
Kick-off time is 5pm.
