Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi appears to have put behind him his recent battles with injury after he came off the bench to score in a big league win for FC Porto.
Zaidu hit target in the 85th minute to make it 4-0 in favour of Porto at Arouca.
The leftback has not been recalled to the Super Eagles since the delayed 2023 AFCON last year in Cote d’Ivoire no thanks to his injury troubles.
The win maintained Porto perfect start to the new season as they now sit top of the table with 21 points after seven rounds of matches.
They are three points ahead of closest rivals Sporting Lisbon.
