The stocks of former Mali coach Eric Chelle shot up after he guided the Super Eagles to third place at the recent 2025 AFCON in Morocco, where they played a very attractive passing game.
The former RC Lens defender managed several lower-tier clubs in France before he took up the Mali post three years ago.
The 48-year-old coach has a year left on his contract with the Super Eagles amid interests from several African countries like Angola, Guinea and Tunisia.
