Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle will return to Nigeria in the new week, officials informed SCORENigeria
He will return to the country to brief his employers what he has so far done towards the all-important 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March.
He has been working “quietly” with his backroom staff and monitoring the performances of Nigerian players across the world.
Eric Chelle plans to meet in person several Super Eagles stars overseas including skipper William Ekong.
The coach was at Monday’s draw to the 2025 AFCON, where Nigeria have been pitched against Tunisia, Tanzania and Uganda in Fes, Northeastern Morocco.
