Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has tasked the players called up by coach Finidi George for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin to go all out and win both games.
The most capped Nigerian player ever said the Super Eagles know how important the games are and so know they will take the games seriously.
“Everyone knows the importance of both games, the players understand what’s at stake and I will want them to go all out and win both games,” he told SCORENigeria
“I am upbeat they will do this.”
The Super Eagles welcome Bafana Bafana of South Africa on June 7 in Uyo, before they fly out three days later for another World Cup qualifier against Benin in Abidjan.
Nigeria are third in Group C with two points from as many matches.
Your headline is very misleading. Think of better and innovative ways to attract views, not by lying. Super eagles have not even played south Africa, how could they’ve won?
Is not misleading Naa. Is simple English. I thought the same but on a second look the English is correct. Is statement.
Why won’t you argue that the English is correct when your own English is inappropriate by using is to start sentences that are not question sentences.
Beautiful…one of hungry type. Fake news propaganda
There should have been a coma after Eagles to convey a charge from Musa to the Super Eagles, particularly if he made that statement just recently ahead of the match. Otherwise your headline is faulty, deceptive and half baked.
I agree with you. That headline is wrong and misleading. When I saw it, I actually thought the match has been played.
Misleading Headline.
Misleading and mischievous.
Misleading and Deceptive Headlines! Do you have to lie and deceive readers to gain their attentions? If you can do this, then you can report fake news. Nigeria wants a changed narrative positively. You are definitely NOT to be counted positively for Nigeria journalism. Get lost!
I hate nonsense, it’s about time I stop reading from this source, you don’t value societial ethnics that’s why you report news incorrectly and successfully damage your brand by misleading headlines.
It’s actually misleading…. U sent a wrong message. English na your mate?
Indeed it is a statement but eish very scary one when you just read and going down with it so I had to read it again to understand
This is a terrible headline riddled with grammatical blunder. I doubt there is an editor checking stories before they are posted on this platform. This is bad journalism in its entirety.
Soccernigeria.com can do more than this abeg.
Next time ,think before you send your lies, why are you misleading people with with fake news.
The headline is very misleading. I was surprised at when Nigeria played the match for me not to be aware. Let is stop deceiving people to achieve the goal set. It does not pay.
This is my candid suggestion!
Nothing is wrong with the headline technically. Ahmed Musa charged the Eagles to beat SA and Benin. A news headline must be present tense for freshness.
Ahmed Miss Charges Supper to Beat South Africa and Benin
The most misleading and deceitful
headline ever. What kind of crap is this. Nigeria yet to play SA!!!!!!!!
Olusola Also, send me your IG handle, I have a project for you.
The words, “charges Musa”, are what makes the headlines perfectly okay.
It’s the punctuations.. should be…. Super eagles, beat south Africa and Benin, Musa Charges.
Offcourse there’s lots wrong technically with such a misleading,factless headline.Such irresponsible,ill-qualified journalists/
journalism should be punished & barred from such platforms
Desperately idiotic headline.
Nonsense headlines. This is grossly inappropriate to say the least. The Ahmed Musa Benin charge isn’t even mentioned anywhere in your desperate “reader-attention-seeking” headliner. Nxxx! Ngamanyala lawa!
These guys have amateur as an editor or they deliberately write fake news.
Theÿ possess no integrity.
The 7th of June is going to exciting!!!!!
The headline should have been like this: Beat South Africa, Benin— Ahmed Musa charges Super Eagles
You just need to be more creative in attracting the attentions of your prospect readers than misleading people just because you want them to read your post. Integrity is very important in all we do. This is my candid submission.
Super Eagle, Beat South Africa & Benin-Charges Ahmed Musa…
It will still draw attention like this and not be technically wrong.
Misled headline.
I thought the match is played.
Please stop such headline to make your news letter relevant.
It’s an insult to the readers. You may not be taking serious when next you post, and that make your news irrelevant 😞
What happened to MUST or HAVE TO?
