Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika is now just a point away from being crowned champion of Belgium for the first time with Club Brugge.
Club Brugge lead the Championship Playoffs with 49 points after a crucial 1-0 win at front runners Anderlecht at the weekend.
Onyedika, who won the Danish league in 2019/20 and the Danish Cup the following season, was replaced in stoppage time.
Club Brugge will next welcome fourth-placed Cercle Brugge in a local Derby Sunday to determine the new champions of Belgium.
Both Union St.Gilloise and Anderlecht have 46 points apiece and are also in with a chance of being crowned champions.
