Former NPFL hotshot Sunusi Ibrahim has expressed his excitement after he opened his goals account in the MLS for his team to halt a five-game run without a win.
The bull-like forward scored the equaliser to help CF Montreal defeat New York Red Bull 2-1.
Sunusi, who was introduced in the 68th minute, scored three minutes later when he headed home a cross from the left side.
“Finally I can smile because it took a lot of hard work to get to this level and scoring my first goal for CF proves that more goals will still come,” the forward said.
“Most importantly it was great to win.”
