Sunusi Ibrahim finally scored his first goal in the Major League Soccer (MLS) and he has now revealed his top targets.
It took Sunusi 19 games before he could score his goal for Montreal Impact in the MLS.
This has boosted the confidence of the 18-year-old forward to now aim for the top.
“My ambition is to play in the MLS and then move to any club in Europe,” he told ESPN.
“In five years, I want to be the best player in the league (MLS) and the best player in the Super Eagles.”
He added: “I am hoping to work hard to make sure that I get the shirt for the Super Eagles. I already played with the home-based team.
“Any moment from now, I hope to be there because nobody will do it for you, you have to do it yourself.
“You need to work hard and keep on praying.”
Sunusi has won caps with the CHAN Eagles and the U23s.
He was joint top scorer of the NPFL three seasons ago.
