A special study by the Football Observatory (CIES) has predicted that Simeon Nwankwo will suffer another relegation from Serie A at the end of the season, while Victor Osimhem’s Napoli will be beaten to the championship in Italy by champions Inter Milan.
Salernitana, who were promoted to the Italian top league for this season, have signed ‘Simy’ to score the goals to keep them afloat.
His 20 goals in Serie A last season failed to save Crotone.
Napoli failed to finish in the Top-4 in Italy, but will improve to finish runners-up by the end of the season, according to the study.
The study also predicted that FC Lorient, who parade Term Moffi, and FC Nantes, who have Moses Simon, will again escape the dreaded drop in the French Ligue 1.
In the Premier League, Manchester City will retain their title ahead of city rivals Manchester United, Liverpool will again finish third and Chelsea fourth.
CIES said its study was based on the experience of the players, the investment on the transfer market by the clubs as well as their performances in the last one year.
