Shehu Dikko is a Federal High Court Jos CONVICT running away from the long arm of the law.
He is also the chairman of the League Management Company (LMC) and second vice president of the NFF besides being a director and owner of MEDITERRANEAN SPORTS LIMITED, a company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission with registration number RC609149 domiciled in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja with address at Plot 1467 Hon. Justice Mamman Nasir Crescent, Asokoro, Abuja.
And currently, Nigeria football is in the suffocating grip of Shehu Dikko and Amaju Pinnick.
The pair has bastardised established financial procedure, rules and turned due process on its head in running a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports.
But they are quick to say that in this new dispensation they carry along Sunday Dare, the Hon. Minister of youth and sports.
They have continued to use the Mediterranean Sports Limited as their trump card to divert and siphon football sponsorship monies.
A letter of instruction, dated 9th April 2018 addressed to the Chairman of Financial Derivatives signed by the general secretary of the NFF at the instance of president Amaju Pinnick, directed Financial Derivatives to transfer 20% of 150,000,000 million Naira tranche of sponsorship fee from AITEO GROUP to Mediterranean Sports Limited account.
Meanwhile, we have fresh facts on the hush-hush Coca-Cola $800,000 sponsorship fee for 2020 paid through Financial Derivatives Ltd FCMB account number 0605712017 on 6th March 2020.
Financial Derivatives transferred $320,015 in two tranches on April 9th and 21st 2020 to Shehu Dikko’s Mediterranean Sports Limited account for a sharing formula to be dictated by head of the Nigeria football cabal, Amaju Pinnick.
This is how Pinnick and Dikko have brazenly stolen funds meant for football development in Nigeria.
Even the most compromised anti-graft agency anywhere in the world cannot allow this massive stealing go without prosecution.
This is what we see and talk and they say we are creating a toxic environment when in fact TOXIC STEALING has continued to go on without let.
With very deep pockets they have compromised and shut down the mainstream sporting media in Nigeria.
In the days of the late Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, they had unrestrained access to the seat of power at Aso Villa.
They allegedly deployed the DSS as security network to their operations and even use them to intimidate and harass their perceived detractors.
They walk unchallenged into any national TV station at their whim and caprices, get unlimited air time to brag about how they plundered our football treasury.
They have conquered the Nigeria Football Congress, which ought to have long checked the excesses of these executives.
Who will tame Amaju Pinnick and Shehu Dikko?
For how long will their pyrrhic victory last?
A Pharaoh who didn’t know Joseph has come.
