After moving to FC Zurich from MFM FC for 400,000 Euros two years ago, striker Stephen Odey is now closing in on a transfer to Belgian champions KRC Genk for 7.5 million Euros.
SCORENigeria has learnt that Odey, 21, was in Germany yesterday on his way to Belgium to complete the transfer.
He is expected to seal a three-year contract with an option for an additional year.
The transfer is being handled by his Monaco-based agent.
The striker scored 14 goals in all competitions for Swiss side FC Zurich, 10 goals were in the league.
In his first season, he had managed only two goals.
