Bafana Bafana of South Africa are leaving nothing to chance by the time they tackle the Super Eagles in a crunch 2026 World Cup qualifier as they will feature in a new FIFA tournament in March in Algeria.
Hosts Algeria, Bolivia and Albania are the other teams who will feature in this tournament sanctioned by FIFA.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino is expected to attend the invitational tournament.
After drawing their first two World Cup qualifiers, the Super Eagles face a must-win match against South Africa in Uyo in June.
They are second in the group with four points, ahead of third-placed Super Eagles, who have two points.
